THE CHALLENGE
This project's largest challenge was the large steep sloped roof that required abatement of asbestos containing roofing materials whilst maintaining water-tight conditions daily. Demanding timely and clear communication with all trades & personnel on site including the abatement contractor, our roofers, and our masons to make sure that we never left an opportunity for water to infiltrate the church.
THE RENAISSANCE SOLUTION
Daily communication was a key aspect to this project that enabled us to complete the exterior restoration with minimal delays and minimized additional expense.
During construction The church was fully open and available for weekly services, weddings, funerals, and other functions.
THE STUNNING RESULTS
The end result was a church with a new slate roof, restored back to it's original design and intent. New copper cornice, gutters and flashings, with integrated and timely masonry restoration efforts.
